Single Review by Mark Bayross
Cormac Battle and co have been quietly gaining ground since pulling the plug on Kerbdog and resurfacing as the spiky, perky pop-punk Wilt. Their debut album BASTINADO was pleasantly surprising and this single won’t harm their reputation either.
It’s a feel-good indie guitar romp that, while hardly breaking new ground, nonetheless makes for a pleasantly energetic three minutes. It comes across two CDs, backed by new track FLUTTER and a cover of the Jesus And Mary Chain’s APRIL SKIES.
A few more column inches won, then.
