The Vines have yet to release their debut album, but already the Australian foursome is inciting a mass outbreak of journalistic hyperbole from the UK’s music press.
Admittedly, there is something intoxicating about their punkish noise, but it’s probably down to the fact that singer Craig Nicholls does a neat Kurt Cobain impression, and, at just over two minutes, GET FREE is in no danger of outstaying its welcome.
Expect a whirlwind when their debut album HIGHLY EVOLVED is released in July.
