Album Review by Mark Bayross
Trial And Error is one Chris Cox, the founder (and studio engineer) of Supply And Demand Records in Seattle, who has created an 11-track album of instrumentals, crafted entirely on acoustic guitar and piano.
At under 24 minutes long, it is not what you could call a towering record, but at least these tunes, some of them driven along by fiery Latin rhythms, are never in danger of outstaying their welcome. And with song titles like MEDIOCRE HEAD START, Cox doesn’t seem to take himself as seriously as all this might suggest.
