‘Skybursting hyper-guitar-psych-pop’ to quote the press release! I’m not quite sure exactly what that means but it sounds great. POLLEN FEVER is the first single release by Tetra Splendour since signing to Chrysalis and it’s taken from their new album out in May 2002.
They are obviously after a cult following among the army of hay fever sufferers out there as the main line on the track is – ‘pollen in my eyes is making me cry’, and that’s something even I can sympathise with in a big way. Maybe they should have waited until June to release this single though – in the middle of the pollen season?
