Manchester duo Jane Murphy and Paul Williams have just finished supporting acoustic indie trailblazers Starsailor, so it’s about time they released their debut single.
Taken from their forthcoming album THE FALLS, CUT is a suitably histrionic, string-drenched ballad that falls just on the right side of catchy. It didn’t set my world on fire, but it’s decent enough.
