Perry Farrell may not have done much since he created Lollapolooza – Porno For Pyros was hardly a career highlight – but the former Jane’s Addiction frontman is back with a solo album and this, the title track, is the first single to be taken from it.
One spin of this and it becomes clear what the former Perry Bernstein has been up to. This couldn’t sound further removed from his past if it tried. Backed by portentous keyboards, his spectral croon creates a stunning, haunting ambience that just grows and grows.
The first new Peter Gabriel single in years.
