Single Review by Mark Bayross
Summer has finally decided to honour us with an appearance here in the UK, so the release of this second single from Paul Oakenfold’s debut artist album BUNKKA is appropriately timely.
Most people will recognise this tune from the Capital Radio advert, with chief Crazy Town berk Shifty Shellshock’s laidback vocal nicely carried along by Oakenfold’s summery hip-hop groove.
The accompanying mixes are pretty redundant, although Oliver Leib’s thumping, trancey remix fares better than Josh Wink’s uneventful “re-interpretation”. Still, the single’s fun enough to warrant being part of your soundtrack to however many weeks the sun chooses to stay out.
