You may have already since the brilliant “Dr. Strangelove”-inspired video for this, the second single from Muse’s long-awaited third album after the frantic internet-only STOCKHOLM SYNDROME.
TIME IS RUNNING OUT finds the Teignmouth trio in slightly more subdued form than usual, opting for the slow-burn approach rather than the bombastic, although it still tingles the spine. Matt Bellamy once again sings like his life depends on it, while his guitar and the rhythm section rumble like approaching thunder.
The single comes on CD, DVD and clear 7” vinyl and should just about keep you occupied until the album arrives in a couple of weeks’ time.
