A more understated, simple love song from recent album THE TOURNIQUET, lacking the crackling electro-folk and rousing strings of much of Even Johansen’s other work, but possessing a pretty, glacial melody and some fine vocal gymnastics.
B-side THIS BIRD CAN NEVER FLY is more underwhelming, however: fragile without the hooks to draw you in, making the single somewhat inessential if you already have the album.
