Speeding out of the speakers like a Ferrari with its brakes cut comes the first single from the legendary Johnny Marr and his band The Healers.
It’s a heady rush of driving bass, courtesy of former Kula Shaker Alonza Bevan, funky drumming from Zak “Son of Ringo” Starkey and, of course, the kind of six-string skill that has made Mr. Marr famous. The whole glorious sound is polished off with an electronic sheen not unlike Primal Scream’s “Xtrmntr”, giving it an ultra-modern, hedonistic, rollercoaster feel.
What’s more, curious Smiths/Electronic/The The fans will finally get to hear Johnny Marr sing.
