Jan Johnston’s last single FLESH made it to the Top 40, unsurprising as it was the kind of hi-energy trance that goes down a storm among the clubbing masses.
This follow-up is a bit more low key, although it still pushes all the right pop buttons – a mid-tempo slice of uplifting techno with Ms Johnston’s vocals at the front of the mix. It’s accompanied by the inevitable cluster of remixes, courtesy of fellow Perfecto artists Mekka and Monoboy (a bit dancier), Lyric and Natali (a bit mellower) and Solarstone (a few more drums and no singing).
With her debut album EMERGING due for release in August and an impending contribution to the new John Travolta movie SWORDFISH, Jan Johnston looks set to be around for a while longer.
