Music Review by Neil Sadler
In a market crowded with female singer-songwriters, it’s difficult to find a sound of your own. Described as a mixture of folk/jazz, BE MYSELF doesn’t really have a strong enough foot in either camp to make it stand out above the K.T. Tunstall’s and Sandi Thom’s of this world. It is a pleasant enough tune and her voice is an interesting mix of sweetness and huskiness – but that isn’t enough to lift this track above average.
