Gratitude are possibly the dream tour support to labelmates Funeral For A Friend, given that they comprise Matt Davies’ hero in former Far front man Jonah Matranga and ex-Crumb guitarist Mark Weinberg, a pair who have collaborated as far back as the mid-90s.
As an introduction to their self-titled debut album, DRIVE AWAY is a dynamic three minutes of rousing pop-rock perfection, while the acoustic B-side SADIE does a wonderful job of demonstrating Matranga’s vocal range.
