EP Review by EDF
Just like some of the other new groups breaking it into the music scene, Toronto based GO! has adopted the new wave sound that has given bands like The Killers their recent success. This four-piece have admitted to liking The Cars and it shows. SO FREE reproduces that late 1970’s sound but manages to sound lifeless due to a dull, never-ending keyboard hook. HOT STUFF and CRAZY show off a more energetic performance, as if the band are trying to break out of the confines of the recording studio, proving to the listener that they are a great live group. The EP is promising and this could be a band to keep an eye out for.
