Single Review by Mark Bayross
Ho, ho, ho. Bet whoever thought of that band name gave themselves a pat on the back and extra indie smug points. Unfortunately on this, their first single in two years, they throw plenty of sounds into the mix (jangly guitars, brass, what sounds like castanets), along with a yelping falsetto chorus, but the whole thing just ends up being irritating.
The single is backed by a version of HARD BLOKE, also from the forthcoming album SONGS ON THE RADIO, a skanking dub that finds them in more restrained mood and the better for it.
