Everclear’s new single WONDERFUL lives up to their excellent new album SONGS FROM AN AMERICAN MOVIE VOL 1 LEARNING HOW TO SMILE. WONDERFUL is not just a couple of lines with a catchy chorus, it’s a real song about real life and is based on the personal experience of singer/songwriter/guitarist Art Alexakis. It’s a view of a divorce from a child’s eyes describing the emotion felt about events out of the child’s control.
It’s a powerful song both emotionally and musically and is enjoyable both as a quick listen and on a far deeper level if you care to take the time.
