The follow-up to BACKAROUND is another slice of pop perfection that sounds more at home in the 60’s than in the year 2000. When asked about the chances the track would have on the singles chart Andy Childs mentioned in an interview with Phase 9 that the track would have been more appropriate as a summer single. It will be interesting to see how well the single does.
The B-side track MOST COMFORTABLE is a cool jazzy instrumental that demonstrates how well these guys can write a tune.
There are also two mixes of MAN IN A TOWEL. The Kojak Remix adds a dance beat to a repetitive guitar riff while the Pink Aviator Mix, mixed by Elevator Suite, is an aimless ten minute affair.
