Album Review by Nigel A. Messenger
Oh Yes! Make it better Sarah, make it better. Oops, sorry I didn’t realise you were reading this.
MAKE IT BETTER is Dubstar’s latest and greatest album to date and it’s very, very, VERY, good.
Dubstar have really come into their own with this album and Sarah Blackwood’s confident vocals are perfect to front a really original Dubstar style.
I don’t really feel comfortable comparing one band’s music to another’s so I’m not going to try, but Dubstar have definitely climbed up there, somewhere among the best bands of today. It’s a really interesting album, what a lousy phrase to use about a band’s music, but it really is interesting as well as enjoyable with the necessary injection of excitement that it takes to make what I think will become a superstar to be mentioned in the same breath as ‘Garbage’ or ‘No Doubt’.
Now even mentioning those two bands in a review is about the highest praise I can give out, so you had better go out and get this album now because it will become a classic.
