Single Review by Mark Bayross
Currently enjoying fairly regular exposure on TV and radio, Do Me Bad Things mix the glitter disco of Scissor Sisters with the glam rock of The Darkness, and could well eclipse the success of both in the process.
Certainly, this single will do their cause no harm, as it throws everything plus the kitchen sink into a four-way mash up between soulful vocals, metal guitars, lounge jazz and slinky beats. It all works well enough, but there’s just a suspicion that the “cover all bases” approach is more about instant appeal than any attempt at longevity.
Still, fun while it lasts.
