If you were to pick one member of the Rat Pack to record an album of Christmas songs, Dean Martin would have been the first choice. Dino was always the one who seemed to have a party, whatever the occasion. This album is like being invited into Dino’s home where it is warm, cosy with a log fire burning away. Dino croons his way through standards such as WINTER WONDERLAND, LET IT SNOW! LET IT SNOW! LET IT SNOW! and JINGLE BELLS. Even the lesser known tracks, BABY, IT’S COLD OUTSIDE and A MARSHMALLOW WORLD are equally as enjoyable. So put this album on and enjoy the Christmas festivities where all troubles are forgotten for a short while.
