The third single from The Ramones’ – I mean The D4’s – album 6TWENTY is another short, sharp blast of singalong punk, all garage guitars, shouty vocals and handclaps. So, not a great surprise, then.
At under two minutes, the B-side DON’T BELIEVE IN XMAS is a lot of fun, though, while SANTA CLAUS (are they making a play for Christmas Number One this year?) is a satisfying collage of noise and punk rock.
Derivative but diverting.
