Single Review by Neil Ryan
A pleasant post-romantic meander through the contemplative mood of Mr O’Dowd after he’s been given the elbow. As consummate a slice of pop-soul as anything from their mid-80’s era of chart dominance, featuring white-boy funk hooks a la Boz Scaggs or Hall & Oates. Nice.
The flip-side is a perfunctory run-through of Bowie’s STARMAN which mixes snatches of abrasive guitar with a string section before settling into a bland outro that resembles some of the Boy’s previous Hare Krishna influenced output.
