Björk’s latest album MEDULLA seems to have been met by a uniformly baffled response, which is strange because a) it’s Björk, so we should be used to her experimentation by now, and b) it all works as a coherent body of music. Unfortunately, pushing the boundaries of music rarely seems to enjoy the recognition it warrants these days, but it’s our loss if we choose to miss out.
WHO IS IT is perhaps one of the album’s most accessible tracks, which makes it an inevitable choice for a single and, really, if you fail to be moved by its combination of grace and passion, never mind the craft involved, then you deserve your Robbie Williams albums and good riddance.
