Single Reviews by EDF and Mark Bayross
Review by EDF
A song that is inspired by the sun, this is a feel good track that highlights everything that is good about a sunny day. Not taking the usual R&B route, this acoustic sounding, soulful track mixed with infectious beats is a cut above the mournful Dido type songs making their rounds at the moment. If this is a just world, this should give Baz her second Top 40 hit and who knows, maybe an even higher chart placing.

This is the second single from South London songstress Baz and serves as a superb introduction to her ‘undersoul’ sound – her name for the soulful trip-hop that she uses to soundtrack her life.
The fusion of acoustic guitar, clattering beats and trancey effects is certainly very ‘in’ at the moment (see: Nelly Furtado, Dido, er, Mel C…), and Baz’s warm, euphoric vocals (about how the sunshine makes her feel happy to be alive – where does she live?! Not bloody South London! – certainly won’t hurt.
Expect this all over the radio very soon.
