Sony Pictures has released a cryptic and initially somewhat confusing teaser trailer for the upcoming zombie apocalypse movie 28 YEARS LATER.
The trailer, lasting thirteen seconds, features a mostly blank black screen with Morse code audio playing in the background. This is accompanied by some sound effects, flashes of a bleak-looking island connected by a long land bridge, creepy statue-like figures, and graphics of red skulls and red contamination symbols dotted throughout.
The YouTube video has no movie title or description, only an S.O.S emoji, leaving room for some initial confusion, unless viewers first encountered the trailer on the film’s official X (formerly Twitter) account.
