The BRING IT ON franchise never seems to end, but may be that’s a good thing because at least you know pretty much what you are getting with this straight to DVD release.
Lots of very pretty girls of course and you can expect at least one of these actresses to become a major film or TV star of the future! Well think about it… the franchise has so far brought us Eliza Dushku, Kirsten Dunst and Hayden Panettiere so why shouldn’t one of the hot babes in this fourth release be a major star too?
There’s plenty of quality eye candy so what about the story? Nothing too demanding here as it pretty much follows the standard good girl, bad girl fight over the guy stuff all to a cheerleading background.
In a bit more detail Southern California high school senior Carson (Ashley Benson) arrives at the prestigious Cheer Camp Nationals and is determined to lead Chelsea (Jennifer Tisdale) and the rest of her squad, the West High Sharks to victory. But when Carson falls for fellow cheerleader Penn (Michael Copon) without realizing that he is from the opposing team, she ends up in a one-on-one battle with the Brooke (Cassie Scerbo), the leader of his squad, the East High Jets.
BRING IT ON: IN IT TO WIN IT is going to appeal to two main groups, teenage girls, particularly the cheerleaders out there and any guys that like looking at pretty girls in short skirts. So I guess that’s why I like it then – and I’m definitely not a cheerleader!
