SWEET SURRENDER is the third single from Bellatrix since they signed up with the Fierce Panda label last summer.
The first was JEDIWANNABE, catchy but a little basic, followed by THE GIRL WITH THE SPARKLING EYES which should have been a bigger hit than it was.
SWEET SURRENDER is their most vampish moment yet and is described by the record company as “A classic Bellatrix bittersweet collision of melody and emotional mayhem wrapped in a package so screamingly commercial that people scarcely believe the fivesome are not yet residents on Top Of The Pops”.
Well I’d agree with that – I think – and certainly I can’t understand why Bellatrix are not yet all over the radio.
Let’s hope this one gets more airplay.
