Alice Deejay rocketed to success with their first two single releases BETTER OFF ALONE and BACK IN MY LIFE and the third WILL I EVER is sure to be a huge hit also.
All three of the singles can be found on their debut album WHO NEEDS GUITARS ANYWAY together with a number of other tracks which are sure to end up as single releases.
This is an excellent dance album with Alice Deejay’s trance sound finding its way onto most tracks. The exception is FAIRYTAILS and although I really like the rest of the album I love FAIRYTAILS. It’s described as a haunting sound and it’s very reminiscent of the later music of German artist Sandra who was a superstar throughout most of the world with the exception of the UK, a few years ago.
I certainly hope FAIRYTAILS is chosen as a future single release as this shows another more complex side to Alice Deejay.
A brilliant debut album.
