London dance duo Agent Sumo (AKA Martin Cole and Steven Halliday) already have a couple of limited edition EPs to their collective name, along with countless DJ appearances on both sides of the Atlantic.
SUNFLOWERS originally saw the light of day around a year ago, coming out as a limited edition white label on the Sunflower label. Now Virgin is re-releasing the tune as their debut single proper.
Despite the rather autumnal timing of its release, it’s a chirpy summery tune which, while perfectly pleasant, is not particularly memorable. You don’t particularly need it in your life, nor the endless identical mixes that accompany it.
