Album Review by Mark Bayross
Not sure what the legendary Brazilian World Cup winner has to do with “the connection that all icons possess” that apparently inspired this trio’s name, but I would say Kurt Cobain was more of an influence, especially when you hear Chris Glithero’s howl.
This six track mini-LP is fast, economical and catchy; there isn’t a song on it that makes the three minute mark and the feedback drenched riffs and stomping drumming add perfect context to the social angst and themes of modern desolation.
It’s nothing original but it’s raw and effective.
