A new band formed last year (1999), The Kustom Built are Newcastle / Sunderland based and at the time of writing are amazingly still unsigned.
The TORCH SONG EP has a sort of gritty beat running through all the tracks, and has been released through their own record label, Atomic HiFi, so you might have to look around a bit to get hold of a copy.
It’s worth it though because if The Kuston Built stick at it they’re going to go a long way – fast.
The promo CD even has some ball bearings inserted into the side of the jewel case to make a noise when you pick it up. A ‘custom built’ case you might say.
