Taken from their second album NO WOW, this is another lo-fi stab of brooding electro sleaze from the Kills, like a back alley meeting between Sonic Youth and “Movement”-era New Order.
Given that the subject matter deals with Jamie’s preference for passion over love, this is probably fitting – after all, very few people could claim “the more you love something, the more nihilistic you become”.
As a single, this is about as far away from chart-friendly as you can get. I am delighted to say.
