Dan Sartain is a 23 year-old from Birmingham, Alabama who has already been impressing the music press to the extent that the NME last year acclaimed him as “the post punk Johnny Cash”. I’m not sure if he can match the Man in Black for depth of emotion, but he has the Southern swagger down to a tee.
