Definitely one of the key tracks from Bird’s THE INSIDES album, SLOWLY, SLOWLY finds the normally acoustic Janie Price adding mid-tempo synthetic beats and flashes of processed guitar to her cello and yearning voice.
It is a clear choice for a single and probably a stab at mainstream success, although, taken in isolation from the album, it won’t really allow the talented Ms Price to stand out from the pop crowd.
